Monday 1st September

 The Osprey remains in the Ellerburn valley, Dalby Forest, also a Hobby there. Swifts are still evident; one at Harwood Dale, one south at Long Nab, two over Oliver's Mount, two over Prospect Road, one at Wrench Green,  and three over Dean Road Cemetery. The adult Roseate Tern remains in the Scalby Mills area, seen on the rocks at Scalby Ness. A Little Egret, Dunlin and Ruff at Wykeham East Lake. A Whimbrel and Common Sandpiper at Jackson's Bay. A Spotted Flycatcher at Staindale Lake, Dalby Forest. Four Willow Tits (all sperate locations) in the Wrench Green/ eastern Wykeham Forest area, also 4 Marsh Tits, and Kingfisher. A Caspian Gull and Pintail flew south at Long Nab. Green Sandpiper at Harwood Dale Lake. Five Whimbrel flew west over the Mill Inn, Harwood Dale. 200+ Rooks roosting at Cayton.
