On the move (north unless stated) were 7 Pink-footed Geese south, 5 Dark-bellied Brent Geese, 149 Wigeon, 8 Wigeon, 1 Mallard, 6 Pintail, 264 Teal + 16 south, 71 Common Scoter + 30 south, 3 Red-breasted Merganser + 2 south, 7 Red-throated Diver + 98 south, 2 Black-throated Diver south at 11.15 and 16.10hrs, 80 Fulmar + 5 south, 4 Sooty Shearwater, 446 Gannet + 244 south, 1 Shag south. 13 Cormorant + 14 south, 1 Ringed Plover south, 1 Curlew south, 1 Turnstone south, 1 Knot, 15 Dunlin, 2 Ruff + 1 south, 10 Kittiwake + 1 south, 59 Black-headed Gull + 17 south, 30 Common Gull + 5 south, 475 Great Black-backed Gull, 5 Lesser Black-backed Gull + 5 south, 2 Sandwich Tern + 17 south, 2 Common Tern + 1 south, 1 Great Skua south, 3 Pomarine Skua south, 5 Long-tailed Skua, 8 Arctic Skua + 12 south, 2 Guillemot, 133 Auk sp, 21 Razorbill, 1 Meadow Pipit and 3 Rock Pipit.
In the Long Nab area was a Water Rail, 3 Chiffchaff, the first Yellow-browed Warbler of the year, 2 Goldcrest, 4 Song Thrush, 60 Goldfinch and 2 Lapland Bunting.
On Castle Hill there were 3 Chiffchaff, a Song Thrush and a Garden Warbler, 2 Snipe, 42 Wigeon, a Shoveler, 18 Grey heron and a Curlew were on Johnson’s Marsh.
