Long Nab was fairly quiet this morning other than a Great Northern Diver and 98 Pink-footed Geese in 3 flocks, all flying south. 4 Goldcrests were seen at Crook Ness. A Merlin was spotted near Silpho and a Snow Bunting at Ravenscar. At dusk 16 Purple Sandpipers and a Dunlin were roosting in the harbour, and 400 Starlings in the Old Town.
