Whooper Swans were first seen sitting on the sea off Long Nab early today, before finally moving off northwards later in the morning. Another 9 Whooper Swans were seen at Wykeham South Lake, where there were also 5 Goldeneye, a Buzzard, a Barn Owl, a Kestrel, a Sparrowhawk, 2 Little Egrets, 5 Barnacle Geese, 2 Redshank, 2 Oystercatchers, 2 Egyptian Geese, and a
Goshawk nearby. 2 Dark-bellied Brent Geese flew south past Long Nab, and 11 Pink-footed Geese flew from Seamer Tip Pool towards Cayton and then northwards. A Siskin was seen at Burton Riggs, a Blackcap was at Reasty Bank, and 2 Red Kites were seen at Stony Marl, Fylingdales.
