The
Water Rail was again seen at the Open Air Theatre this morning. At Wykeham South Lake there were 2 Little Grebes, 4 Great Crested Grebes, 12 Cormorants, a Goldeneye and the Shelduck with its hybrid mate. There has also been an unconfirmed report from early this afternoon of a probable Bearded Tit in brambles at the side of the ditch just before the viewpoint. The
Great Grey Shrike remains in the clearing at the top of Housedale in Dalby Forest, where 6 Crossbills were also seen today. 4 Bramblings were spotted near Seamer sewage farm.
