A drake Garganey was present at Seamer Tip Pool throughout the day, and a male Goosander and a pair of Wigeon were at Scalby Lodge pond. At Star Carr there were 8 Curlews, 20 Linnets, a Little Egret and a Kingfisher, while 3 Common/Arctic Terns flew north.
