Six Eider (5M, 1F) flew south at Long Nab this morning and 35 Curlew were on fields there. A Woodcock, two Mandarin Duck and four Jays were at Northstile, Wrench Green with three Common Buzzard overhead. A Short-eared Owl was in a field opposite the sheep filed on Long Causeway Road and a Great Egret was also present there late afternoon. At Folkton/Cayton Carrs late afternoon, there was one Short-eared Owl, two Barn Owl, three Little Egret on River Hertford just west of Folkton WWTW, 14 Stock Dove, 25 Curlew, 60 Lapwing, 300 Starling, 50 Fieldfare and 40 Pied Wagtail in ploughed field behind Folkton WWTW. A Short-eared Owl was on the south side of Seamer Tip and 150 Jackdaw and two Common Buzzard were at Flixton.
