A Great Northern Diver remained off the harbour mouth this morning and a pair of Goosander were in North Bay. A Mediterranean Gull was at Holbeck Car Park and the now resident Whooper Swan was at Seamer Road Mere. At least three Tawny Owls were heard/seen or seen in East Ayton this evening and a male Tawny Owl was calling in Burniston. A Great Egret and a Short-eared Owl were noted at Wykeham.
