Two Song Thrushes were the highlight at the Italian Gardens this morning and at Harwood Dale Forest there were 10 Siskin and eight Coal Tit. 100 Starling, 50 Fieldfare and 50 Redwing were in fields to the south of Ravenscar mast. Five Lesser Redpoll were at Burton Riggs this morning and at Brompton Ponds at lunch time there was one Little Egret, nine Gadwall, three Teal, eight Tufted Duck and three Little Grebe. 37 Whooper Swans and 18 Mute Swans were in fields to the south of Long Causeway Road, Wykeham this afternoon. 13 Goldeneye, a drake Goosander and three Common Buzzard were at the Water Sports Lake (South Lake) at Wykeham and a Raven flew west there. Three Northern Goshawk and five Common Buzzard were seen from Wykeham Raptor Viewpoint.
