Highlights today included four Ravens in Troutsdale (2 pairs), 2 Bar-tailed Godwits Cayton Bay, Great Northern Diver at the harbour, Raven at Harwood Dale Forest. At Long Nab a Mediterranean gull flew south, and 2 Goldeneye flew north. A Woodcock was in Hundale Plantation, and Water Rail at the "scrape". The Gristhorpe Bay wader roost held a Grey Plover, 9 Curlew, 52 Redshank, 48 Purple Sandpipers, 8 Ringed Plovers, 9 Turnstone, and 32 Oystercatchers. 12 Red-throated Divers, 18 Common Scoters in Cayton Bay, 5 Red-throated Divers off Gristhorpe bay.
