The highlight of the day was the reappearance of the 16 Shore Larks about 100 metres south of Crook Ness and nearby at Long Nab 12 Pink-footed Geese flew north. Further down the coast the 2 Lesser Black-backed Gulls were seen again at Scalby Mills.

The species counts from Wykeham South Lake today included 6 Whooper Swans (2ad, 4juv), 6 Shoveler, 16 Pochard, 15 Gadwall, a Wigeon, 12 Teal, 8 Oystercatchers, a Redshank, 33 Coot and 5 Cormorants.
