Yippee!!!
Waxwings are back in the news today with a group of 15 seen within Scarborough
Hospital grounds at 15.15 this afternoon.
Goshawks
were seen again today from the Wykeham Raptor View Point with a minimum of 3
birds seen during the late morning, also in the area at least 10 Common
Buzzards with 6 birds in the air together on two occasions.
South
Bay today had Great Northern Diver, Red-throated Diver and Black-necked Grebe
and 15 Common Scoter and at Holbeck there were 10 Mediterranean Gulls (8 adults,
2x1st winter).
Other
things seen today included 2 Shelducks in Jackson’s Bay, a Common Buzzard over
Ayton Castle, 48 Pink-footed Geese flew south over the Stepney area and at
Scalby Mills a Lesser Black-backed Gull and 2 Gadwall.
