In Cornelian Bay there were 3 Red-throated Divers, 5 Common Scoter, 6 Purple Sandpipers and a Grey Plover, while in the ravine there was a Great Spotted Woodpecker and a Treecreeper. 4 Little Grebes, 35 Tufted Duck, a Goldeneye, 2 Goosanders, 8 Cormorants and a Coot were at Seamer Road Mere, and a Chiffchaff was at Westwood Court. 26 Purple Sandpipers were at their usual roost in the harbour, high on the rocks due to the tide height.
