Hovingham Drive in the morning. At Wykeham South Lake today 4 Pochard, 4
Gadwall, 5 Goldeneyes, 18 Tufted Ducks, 83 Coots, 18 Golden Plover flew over
and there was a large mixed flock of Fieldfares and Redwings. The Black-necked Grebe was still in the present in Scarborough harbour in the
afternoon and must be one of the most popular photographic subjects at the moment, bring on the Waxwings.
