4 Tundra Bean Geese still near Seamer tip pools. About 232 Greylags were in the field above Darrell's Low Farm this morning, and at Pigg's Farm there was a large mixed finch flock including 50 Goldfinch, Chaffinch and Bullfinch. A melanistic Great Tit was seen among a mixed tit flock in Peasholm Glen and an argentatus type Herring Gull was on Peasholm Lake. A Great Spotted Woodpecker, a Nuthatch, a Marsh Tit, 6 Bullfinches and 4 Song Thrushes were with a mixed tit flock (which had an abundance of Greats over Blues) at Harland Wood.
