At Potter Brompton Carr; 485 Greylag Geese, Shelduck, 7 Shoveler, 9 Little Egrets. Three Little Egrets and a Little Grebe at Johnson's Marsh. Jugger Howe Moor had a juvenile Cuckoo, plus a female and juvenile Wheatear. A Little Egret flew north over Burniston. Good numbers of terns moving north past Long Nab this afternoon; 219 Sandwich, 103 Common, 160 Arctic, 80 Common/Arctic. Also 2000+ Kittiwakes flew north.
