The Ortolan Bunting at Wykeham Forest attracted good numbers of birders today. One Honey Buzzard was reported from the nearby Raptor Viewpoint, also a Nightjar was located roosting on a log near the benches. Five Whinchat territories were located at Eller Beck/RAF Fylingdales area. Surprisingly no Wheatears present. Single Great White and Little Egrets at Wykeham East Lake. 33 Crossbills flew south-west at Ravenscar early morning. Two Little Ringed Plovers still at Harwood Dale Lake.
