At Seamer Road Mere: a "redhead" Goosander, Little Egret, 8 Little Grebes, 30 Gadwall. A Redstart in a Burniston garden. At Scalby Mills: 6 Ringed Plovers, 11 Oystercatchers, Curlew, 2 Redshank, 2 Turnstone, and 26 Wigeon. Seven Swallows, 3+ Redpoll at Wrench Green. An Arctic Skua flew south off Jackson's Bay, also 2 Sandwich Terns, Lbb Gull (intermedius/fuscus type), and Bar-tailed Godwit. A Wigeon was an unusual visitor to Peasholm Park.
