Two Yellow-browed Warblers at Long Nab, also Chiffchaff, Blackcap and two Brambling. A Merlin flew south early morning. Several skeins of Pink-footed Geese were on the move today. A Kingfisher at Scalby Beck. A Kingfisher, Little Grebe, 2 Teal, Grey Wagtail at Brompton Ponds. A Raven at Ellerburn and 3 Willow Tits at Sand Dale. The Dark-bellied Brent Goose was again at Scalby Mills, also two first-winter Caspian Gulls, and 7 Whooper Swans arrived from the east. A Little Egret flew south at North Bay. The Snow Bunting again at East Pier. A first-winter Caspian Gull and a Purple Sandpiper at the harbour.
