Lots of Pink-footed Goose movement today. 70 flew east over Oliver's Mount, followed by 150 south there. 500 flew north-west over Gristhorpe carrs, and 50 in the same direction over Seamer. 55 went south over Cayton Bay, and 61 north over Newby. 18 Whooper Swans, 3 Pintail, Ruff , 2 Great White Egrets, 2 Marsh Harriers, Cetti's Warbler and a crossbill (over) at Potter Brompton Carr . Two Wheatears by the southern watchpoint(bench) at Long Nab. At Wykeham East Lake: one Whooper Swan, 66 Teal, 26 Lapwing, 2 Green Sandpipers, 6 Snipe. The Peasholm Glen Tawny Owls were very active in the evening. A Barnacle Goose and 9 Pink-footed Geese in fields at Cromer Point. Ten Ringed Plovers, Bar-tailed Godwit, 4 Chiffchaffs, Blackcap in the Jackson's Bay/Scalby Lodge area.
