It wasn't a bad day for passage with good numbers, particularly House Martins, moving ahead of rain storms.
On the move (south unless stated) were 2 Red-throated Diver + 1 north, 5 Cormorant + 1 north, 1 Shag north, 1 Sparrowhawk, 1 Buzzard, 7 Oystercatcher, 1 Ringed Plover, 7 Golden Plover, 1 Dunlin, 2 Snipe, 3 Arctic Skua, 7 Black-headed Gull + 16 north, 2 Common Gull, 9 Sandwich Tern, 49 Common Tern north, 102 Wood Pigeon, 8 Swift, 981 House Martin, 389 Swallow, 11 Sand Martin, 452 Meadow Pipit, 2 Rock Pipit north, 3 flava, 2 alba, 1 Jackdaw, 7 Carrion Crow, 1 Greenfinch, 9 Goldfinch, 1 Siskin, 79 Linnet and 1 Lesser Redpoll.
The juvenile Little Stint was still present on Scalby Lodge Pond while duck numbers on Johnson's Marsh had dropped to 13 Teal and 6 Wigeon. At Wykeham South Lake there were 420 Greylag Geese, 4 Egyptian Geese, 2 Pochard, 3 Common Sandpiper and 3 Ruff.
