On the move (south unless stated) during the day were 3 Red-throated Diver + 1 north, 239 Manx Shearwater north, 6 Sooty Shearwater north, 272 Fulmar north, 2 Cormorant north, 1 Shag north, 8 Teal + 3 north, 5 Pintail, 2 Wigeon, 32 Common Scoter north, 2 Oystercatcher, 12 Dunlin, 3 Redshank, 1 Whimbrel, 1 Great Skua + 4 north, 1 Arctic Skua + 5 north, 3 Black-headed Gull, 109 Kittiwake north, 3 Sandwich Tern north, 16 Swallow, 4 House Martin, 1 Sand Martin, 46 Meadow Pipit, 1 Alba, 1 Grey Wagtail, 15 Linnet and 2 Goldfinch.
Migrants between Long Nab and the Castle were 1 Wheatear, 8 Whinchat (Scalby Lodge), 1 Blackcap, 3 Whitethroat, 1 Lesser Whitethroat, 6 Chiffchaff, 1 Willow Warbler and 1 Yellowhammer.
A Ruff and a Redshank were on Scalby Lodge Pond.
Of interest a Clouded Yellow was seen at Barley Carr Rigg.
