Migration watch; 06.40 – 12.00hrs.
On the move (north unless stated) were 2 Shelduck south, 4 Wigeon, 3 Common Scoter + 4 south, 2 Red-throated Diver south, 48 Fulmar + 5 south including one blue Fulmar north, 1 Manx Shearwater, 148 Gannet + 36 south, 4 Cormorant south, 1 Whimbrel, 45 Kittiwake, 1 Common Gull + 4 south, 1 Great Black-backed Gull, 5 Sandwich Tern south, 306 Auk sp, 2 Stock Dove, 12 Linnet, 1 Yellowhammer and 1 Reed Bunting.
The male Hen Harrier was seen again briefly over Burn Howe Moor before moving off high south, a Cuckoo was also in the area.
The Whinchat was still at Scalby Lodge Pond where a brood of Mallard there consisted 11 ducklings.
In the Long Nab area there were 5 Chiffchaff, 2 Lesser Whitethroat and 200 Linnet.
