Migration watch; 07.03 – 10.40hrs.
On the move (north unless stated) were 1 Fulmar, 1 Gannet south, 2 Cormorant + 2 south, 1 Kestrel, 1 Golden Plover, 5 Common Gull, 2 Auk sp south, 1 Skylark, 35 Meadow Pipit, 1 Alba + 2 south, 2 Chaffinch south, 2 Goldfinch south, 1 Greenfinch, 18 Linnet + 11 south and 1 Reed Bunting.
A few more migrants arrived with the first 3 Wheatears of the year at Long Nab along with a White Wagtail, 1 Chiffchaff, 5 Goldcrest, 110 Linnet and the Treecreeper while on Castle Hill there were 5 Chiffchaff and 2 Goldcrest.
At Wykeham South Lake 4 Little Ringed Plover were present along with 6 Sand Martin and 15 Wigeon. Another Sand Martin was seen at Rudda Road Flash, a Gadwall and 11 Wigeon were at Scalby Mills and a dead Water Rail was found in Hutton Buscel.
