Migration watch; 18.00 – 20.00hrs.
Two Ravens were seen together at Stoupe Brow during the day, confirming suspicions that two birds were responsible for the recent rise in sightings.
On the move (north unless stated) were 2 Red-throated Diver, 17 Fulmar, 2 Golden Plover, 1 Great Black-backed Gull, 51 Sandwich Tern, 2 Sand Martin south and 9 Swallow south.
Elsewhere a Stonechat was at Stoupe Brow, a Cuckoo was at Ravenscar, 3 Wheatear were at Scalby Lodge Pond, 3 Tree Pipit and a Yellow Wagtail flew north over Crook Ness and a Black-necked Grebe was in the Harbour.
