A rather quiet day with murky conditions making things hard work.
Migrants were thinly scattered with very little notable change, at Long Nab there were 2 Chiffchaff and 4 Goldcrest, a Willow Warbler was at Cloughton Wyke, a Wheatear was on Castle Hill, a Robin was behind the Marine Drive wall with another in Albermarle Square and a Goldcrest was in Alma Square.
A drake Eider was in North Bay, a Green Sandpiper, a Golden Plover, a Snipe, 12 Wigeon, 4 Oystercatcher, 14 Shoveler, 6 Teal, 4 Willow Warbler and a Grey Wagtail were on Potter Brompton Carr (no general access), 2 Black-necked Grebe were in the Harbour and 9 Tufted Duck were on Johnson’s Marsh.
