Early this morning 3 Siskins and a Grey Wagtail were in Peasholm, and a Grey Plover flew north over Knipe Point. A first calendar year Marsh Harrier was hunting near Long Nab for some time during the late morning/early afternoon. Other highlights from Long Nab include: a Woodcock on the cliff top north of the observation hut; 28 Whooper Swans, 211 Pink-footed Geese and a Twite heading south; and 4 Goosanders and a Goldeneye heading north. 4 Ringed Plovers were at Scalby Mills, 3 small flocks of tits and Goldcrests were in the castle area, and 2 Swallows flew east over Crossgates.
