A few days of dreadful weather with very little news coming in. 150 Pink-footed Geese were seen flying west over the harbour on Monday 1st February. Today a drake Goosander, 2 Wigeon and 20 Tufted Duck were seen at Burton Riggs. A Great Northern Diver flew south at Long Nab.
MONDAY 1st Feb
Two Lapland Buntings at Long Nab, 3 Dark-bellied Brent Geese flew north. The male Hen Harrier was seen again Sw of Wykeham Lakes.
TUESDAY 2nd Feb
Four Goldeneye flew south past Long Nab.
