Whinchat at Jackson's Bay, also 2 Sanderling, 38 Ringed Plover, 2 Dunlin, Whimbrel, 15 Turnstone. An adult and juvenile Roseate Tern at Scalby Mills at midday, 80 Sandwich and 8 Common Terns. A Swift over Crossgates plus one at Scalby Beck, 14 over The Spa. The Pink-footed Goose still at Peasholm Park Lake. At Potter Brompton Carr; 2 Black-tailed Godwits, 6 Ringed Plover, 3 Dunlin, 5 Greenshank, 3 Green Sandpipers, 16 Snipe, Great White Egret, 2 Water Rails, 5 Marsh Harriers (yesterday's tagged bird not present), Shoveler, Wigeon. Highlights past Long Nab: Sooty Shearwater, 31 Whimbrel, Bar-tailed Godwit, 17 Arctic Terns, 631 Common Terns, 2 adult Roseate Terns (flew south in eve), 288 Sandwich Terns, and a Yellow-legged Gull. Sand Martin nest holes; 23 Jackson's bay, 53 Cromer Point.
