A busy seawatch at Long Nab. Highlights from 10.75 hours; Balearic Shearwater, Sooty Shearwater, 894 Manx Shearwaters, 3 Egyptian Geese, good numbers of waders incl 20 Ringed Plover, Little Stint, 75 Whimbrel, Black-tailed Godwit, 3 Caspian and a Yellow-legged Gull, Little Gull. A Sedge Warbler at the scrape. Early morning at Gristhorpe Bay; 4 Little Egrets, 52 Cormorants, 8 Grey Herons, 46 Sandwich Terns, 78 Oystercatchers, 2 Redshank, 5 Turnstone, 6 Curlew. Eight Yellow Wagtails nearby. A Hobby over Ellerburn fish farm. Three Peregrines around Cromer Point. At Potter Brompton Carr; 3 Ruff, 5 Redshank, 2 Greenshank, 3 Green Sandpipers, 3 Egyptian Geese, 4 Marsh Harriers, 2 Great White Egrets, 9 Little Egrets.
