Friday 4th October

Highlight of the day was at Little Bunting at Long Nab, seen briefly on the cliff top south of the observatory, and quickly left south along the cliffs, after giving several calls. The Pallas's Leaf Warbler, and two Yellow-browed Warblers were still present. A Redwing appeared in the plantations then left west. A good movement of Pink-footed Geese reported, all seen from Long Nab, 555 south, 235 north. A Ruff flew south. Elsewhere a Raven was over Cloughton Wyke, and a Wheatear at Marine Drive.
