Highlights past Long Nab this morning included a Black-throated Diver flying north, 160 Pink-footed Geese, Red-breasted Merganser, Goosander, Pale-bellied Brent Goose, 3 Little Egrets, 9 Little Gulls, Mediterranean Gull, 3 Arctic Terns, 6 Arctic Skuas. A herd of c40 Whooper Swans were at Willerby Carr, a further two flew south over North Yorkshire Water Park. A Marsh Harrier, Mediterranean Gull, and a Little Egret at Cayton Carrs. A male Brambling at Cayton Bay. The Red-throated Diver still in the harbour, four feeding off Long Nab. The Snow Bunting was still by the Sea Life Centre. A Hobby arrived off the sea at Holbeck and continued south.
