Highlights from this morning's seawatch at Long Nab included a good selection of wildfowl, of most interest were 3 Pintail, 6 Eiders, 5 Tufted Duck, and a Red-breasted Merganser. Four Arctic Skuas, and two Long-tailed Skuas, one of which joined a small Common Gull flock offshore for 20 minutes to dip-feed. Also past were 10 Little Gulls and 2 Arctic Terns. A small increase in thrushes there including 16 Redwing, plus a Brambling. A little inland Redwings were observed moving west, incl 60 over Burniston. A Stonechat at Thornton Carrs. 35 Wigeon at Scalby Mills. A Jay flew north over Crossgates.
