Two ringtail Hen Harriers arrived from the east at Long Nab this morning, both leaving to the south. Also past were 11 Whooper Swans, 1100 Pink-footed Geese, plus a Twite flew north along the cliffs. A Great White Egret and 8 Whooper Swans at Cayton Carrs near Folkton Water Treatment plant. 180 Pink-footed Geese SW over Burton Riggs, and 104 NE over Allerston. A further 300 later flew over Scalby Nab. Five Fieldfare and 12 Redwing were on fields near to North Yorkshire Water Park entrance and a further 30 Pink-footed Geese flew south there. A Woodcock flew in off the sea at Scalby Mills, where Wigeon had increased to 52, and an increase in Blackbirds was observed. An adult Mediterranean Gull in South Bay.
