The Firecrest was seen again at the Mere for the first time in a week, also there were 4 Gadwall, 5 Goosander and 6 Bullfinch. The Great Northern Diver was still present in the Harbour, a Red-throated Diver and 3 Shag were off Marine Drive, a Red-throated Diver was in North Bay, 16 Mandarin were at Hackness, at Scalby Mills Wigeon numbers had increased to 680+, the Eider was also still there, a single Goshawk was seen in Langdale Forest but there was no sign of the Great Grey Shrike at Stony Knoll in windy conditions, a Water Rail was seen in Northstead Manor Gardens, 250 Lapwing, 54 Dunlin and 300 Starling were on Cayton Carr, 5 Mediterranean Gulls were at Holbeck, a Goldcrest and a Marsh Tit were in Cornelian Ravine and 4 Lapland Bunting were at Long Nab.
Past Long Nab (south unless stated) were 1 Red-throated Diver + 2 north, 13 Fulmar, 4 Gannet, 12 Cormoran + 11 north, 4 Mute Swan, 2 Common Scoter, 2 Little Gull north then south, 15 Black-headed Gull + 1 north, 30 Common Gull + 1 north, 364 Herring Gull, 48 Great Black-backed Gull and 2 Auk sp + 3 north.
