There was no sign of the Smew today on Wykeham South Lake but there were 3 Shelduck, 6 Gadwall, 2 Shoveler, 22 Tufted Duck, 6 Pochard and a Goldeneye.
The Firecrest was still at the Mere, on Potter Brompton Carr there were 2 Egyptian Geese, 37 Lapwing and a Lesser Black-backed Gull (no general access), 29 Pink-footed Geese flew south over Sherburn and 40+ flew north over Leith Rigg.
