A disappointing day for migrants despite the promising conditions, seen between Long Nab and Cornelian Bay were 7 Wheatear, 2 Yellow Wagtail, 18 Whitethroat, 9 Lesser Whitethroat, 14 Willow Warbler and 3 Chiffchaff.
Elsewhere a Red-throated Diver, 2 Common Scoter, 4 Turnstone and a Common Sandpiper were in Cornelian Bay, 3 Common Scoter were off Marine Drive, Wykeham South Lake produced the 9 Egyptian Geese, a Goldeneye, the first Hobby of the year, 2 Little Ringed Plover, 1 Redshank and a Kingfisher, moving east through the site was a single Dunlin and 11 Arctic Tern and a Bar-tailed Godwit and 3 Whimbrel moved off southwest, at Potter Brompton Carr (no general access) the Spotted Redshank remained along with 2 Egyptian Geese, 4 Gadwall, 8 Teal, 1 Wigeon, 2 Greenshank (first of the year), 3 Whimbrel and a Snipe.
On the move (north unless stated) were 1 Red-throated Diver, 38 Fulmar + 19 south, 92 Gannet + 67 south, 1 Cormorant + 3 south, 1 Shag, 3 Greylag Geese south, 3 Shelduck, 7 Common Scoter south, 1 Sparrowhawk south, 1 Kestrel south, 1 Ringed Plover, 2 Bar-tailed Godwit south, 4 Whimbrel, 2 Curlew south, 12 Common Gull + 3 south, 1 Lesser Black-backed Gull + 3 south, 5 Great Black-backed Gull south, 470 Kittiwake, 7 Sandwich Tern + 13 south, 2 Arctic Tern south, 3 Sand Martin south, 2 Swallow + 34 south, 1 House Martin south, 1 Tree Pipit, 9 Meadow Pipit + 2 south, 1 possible Water Pipit south, 1 Flava + 11 south, 1 Blackbird south, 13 Carrion Crow + 5 south, 43 Goldfinch south 4 Linnet + 62 south.

Of interest a Pod of 6+ Bottlenose Dolphin first seen heading north at Filey finially made an appearance in North Bay at 13.25hrs and were later seen passing north at Long Nab.
