Friday 18th - Saturday 19th April 2014

The 18th was a quiet day with very little coverage, the Ruff remained at Potter Brompton Carr (no general access) where there was also 2 Shelduck, 6 Gadwall and 2 Dunlin and the second Whitethroat and Tree Pipit were reported.
A couple of year ticks on the 19th brightened up another fairly quiet day. A Cuckoo was at Jugger Howe Moor and a Garden Warbler was in Wykeham Forest. Elsewhere the Egyptian Geese, 2 Shelduck, a Goldeneye and a Common Sandpiper were at Wykeham South Lake, 6 Gadwall, a Wigeon and 4 Snipe were on Potter Brompton Carr and a Blackcap, 2 Lesser Whitethroat, a Willow Warbler and 385 Linnet were at Long Nab.
On the move at Long Nab (north unless stated) were 27 Fulmar, 14 Gannet, 1 Shelduck south, 115 Kittiwake, 157 Auk sp +2 south, 2 Meadow Pipit south and 2 Goldfinch.
