Migration watch; 07.50 - 10.00hrs.
Additions to the year list were Whitethroat at Jugger Slack and a Cuckoo in the Scar Wood area where there were also 2 Wheatear.
On the move (south unless stated) were 11 Greylag Geese + 2 north, 5 Sand Martin, 24 Swallow, 1 House Martin north, 2 Carrion Crow north, 3 Rook, 17 Linnet + 24 north and 7 Goldfinch + 9 north.
Elsewhere a Red Kite was seen over Howdale Moor, the Bar-tailed Godwit was still in Jackson's Bay, the Red-breasted Merganser was at Scalby Mills, 2 Shelduck and 5 Teal were on Scalby Lodge Pond and 8 recently fledged Mallards were on Scalby Beck.
