Migration watches; 06.35 - 11.20hrs and 19.00 - 20.05hrs.
On the move (south unless stated) were 2 Fulmar + 4 north, 1 Cormorant + 2 north, 2 Greylag Geese north, 2 Oystercatcher north, 4 Ringed Plover north, 1 Snipe north, 1 Whimbrel north, 27 Common Gull, 4 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 5 Great Black-backed Gull + 1 north, 1 Sandwich Tern north, 10 Sand Martin, 11 Swallow, 1 House Martin + 3 north, 5 Flava + 2 north, 5 Alba, 26 Carrion Crow north, 3 Goldfinch and 47 Linnet + 1 north.
Migrants in the Long Nab area included 4 Wheatear, 2 Song Thrush, 8 Whitethroat, 6 Blackcap, 5 Chiffchaff, 6 Willow Warbler and 2 Goldcrest.
What was presumably the same Glaucous Gull seen yesterday was found briefly at the Mere before flying off east, a Red Kite, a Bar-tailed Godwit, 2 Common Sandpiper, a female Common Scoter, 48 Swallow, 26 Sand Martin, 1 House Martin, 2 Egyptian Geese were at Wykeham South Lake where a Dunlin flew east. Three Lesser Whitethroat were at Charm Park, a Lesser Whitethroat and 2 Whitethroat were at Holbeck and 4 Turnstone were in the Harbour.
