Migration watch; 08.25 - 18.00hrs.
On the move (south unless stated) were 2 Cormorant, 1 Marsh Harrier north, 1 Sparrowhawk, 3 Kestrel north, 1 Whimbrel north, 3 Curlew north, 7 Common Gull + 23 north, 1 Sandwich Tern + 7 north, 12 Sand Martin + 17 north, 16 Swallow + 7 north, 1 House Martin, 2 Jackdaw, 11 Carrion Crow + 22 north, 6 Goldfinch + 2 north and 131 Linnet + 10 north.
Migrants in the Long Nab area included singles of Wheatear and Whitethroat, 2 Blackcap, 7 Chiffchaff and 1 Willow Warbler, a Red-breasted Merganser was seen offshore.
Elsewhere the first Garden Warbler was found in Wykeham Forest, the Garganey was still on Johnson's Marsh, 2 Egyptian Geese, 2 Gadwall, 5 House Martin, a White Wagtail, 2 Yellow Wagtail and a Willow Tit were at Potter Brompton Carr (no general access), 2 Pink-footed Geese were at Wykeham South Lake and 2 Shelduck, a Little Ringed Plover and 3 Curlew were on Mayville Flash.
Four Bottlenose Dolphin were seen heading north past Marine Drive at 15.55hrs and were later seen off Long Nab.
