Migration watch; 09.00 - 12.25hrs
On the move (south unless stated) were 1 Sparrowhawk, 3 Bar-tailed Godwit north, 59 Common Gull, 26 Sand Martin, 2 House Martin, 9 Swallow + 6 north, 3 Alba north, 1 Flava, 13 Meadow Pipit north, 1 Carrion Crow in and north, 2 Greenfinch, 17 Goldfinch + 2 north and 316 Linnet + 34 north.
The Garganey remained on Johnson's Marsh along with 2 Shoveler, 6 Wheatear, a Little Ringed Plover and 2 Dunlin were on Scalby lodge Pond, a White Wagtail and a Red-breasted Merganser were at Scalby Mills, 3 Chiffchaff were on Castle Hill and a Willow Warbler was in Peasholm Park.
