Migration watch; 07.05 - 11.20hrs.
On the move (north unless stated) were 1 Red-throated Diver, 81 Fulmar, 1 Manx Shearwater, 169 Gannet + 14 south, 1 Cormorant, 1 Tufted Duck, 1 Common Scoter + 1 south, 2 Common Buzzard east, 1 Whimbrel, 8 Common Gull south, 10 Great Black-backed Gull, 7 Sandwich Tern south, 289 Auk sp + 48 south, 2 Sand Martin, 3 Swallow + 1 south, 4 Meadow Pipit, 1 Alba south, 6 Carrion Crow + 2 south, 2 Chaffinch, 1 Goldfinch south and 34 Linnet + 5 south.
Also in the Long Nab area were 1 Lesser Whitethroat, 1 Whitethroat, 2 Blackcap, 6 Chiffchaff and 2 Willow Warbler.
The Scaup remained on Peasholm Park, 3 Egyptian Geese, 5 Shelduck, 4 Snipe, 3 Whitethroat, 2 Reed Warbler and 4 Sedge Warbler were on Potter Brompton Carr (no general access), a Redshank was at Wykeham South Lake and a Wheatear was at Scalby Lodge Pond.
