The Great Grey Shrike was again seen, both morning and afternoon, in the clearing at the top of Housedale, Dalby Forest, where there was also a Tawny Owl calling and about 10 Crossbills. An estimated 790+ Pink-footed Geese, in 7 flocks, were seen heading north over Long Nab during a 20 minute period this morning. 23 Purple Sandpipers and 2 Dunlin were roosting at high tide this evening on East Pier.
