2 Lapland Buntings were seen in the Cromer Point area early this morning, another flew in at Long Nab an hour later, and another plus a Swift flew south through South Cliff. A Hobby also flew in at Long Nab, and a Marsh Harrier was being mobbed by a Peregrine over Roger Trod. A Great White Egret flew south past Long Nab mid-morning, before cutting in towards North Bay. In the Holbeck area there was a Wheatear, 3 Redshank, 3 Gannets, a flock of 60+ House Martins, and a Swift wheeling south, as well as a Red-throated Diver in South Bay. 300 House Martins were feeding over Oliver's Mount, while 100+ House Martins and a few Swallows were seen over Woodlands Cemetery. 623 House Martins were recorded flying south at Ravenscar early morning, together with 2 Sand Martins. Other highlights from Long Nab include a cream-crowned Marsh Harrier, 147 House Martins, 3 Red-throated Divers, 9 Sandwich Terns, a Pink-footed Goose and 92 Great Black-backed Gulls flying south, and 2 Arctic Skuas flying north. 30 Teal in 2 flocks were in Cornelian Bay, a Kingfisher was seen at Folkton Bridge, and a Swift flew over Thornton Dale.
