Sunday 8th August
A Bar-tailed Godwit, 5 Whimbrel, 4 Turnstones,and 714 Swifts flew south past Long Nab today. A Sedge Warbler was at Crook Ness, and a Grasshopper Warbler was again singing along the Cleveland Way just north of there. At Wykeham East Lake there were 2 Common Sandpipers, a Dunlin, 9 Lesser Black-backed Gulls and 2 Yellow Wagtails, while at Johnson's Marsh there was a Red-breasted Merganser.
