A juvenile Marsh Harrier flew north over Holbeck early this morning. 2 Little Egrets flew north along South Cliff, where 53 Cormorants, 68 Oystercatchers, 32 Curlew, a Whimbrel, a Bar-tailed Godwit and a Wheatear were also present. Long Nab saw a small influx of common migrants including 9 Willow Warblers, a Sedge Warbler and a Lesser Whitethroat. The Grasshopper Warbler is now just south of the observation hut. At least 6 Mediterranean Gulls were in South Bay. A Hobby was seen chasing Swifts over Crossgates, where a Great White Egret flew over north-west.
