Friday 10th September
A Redstart was along South Cliff. Highlights past Long Nab included a Pintail, Bar-tailed Godwit and 2 Swifts. At Wykeham East Lake: 4 Teal, Shoveler, 3 Wigeon, Goldeneye, drake Pochard, and a ringed Plover dropped in during a shower. Also 2 Yellow Wagtails at the Lakes. A female Mandarin was at Scalby Beck near the Youth Hostel. A Sandwich Tern photographed at Cayton Bay with white ring J.T5 had been ringed as a chick near Rotterdam, Holland on 16th June 2021 A Wheatear was seen on St Peter's Church, Castle Road.
