Saturday 25th September
An adult Little Gull was feeding on a ploughed field just north of Long Nab (Hundale) early eve. The first 8 Whooper Swans of autumn flew SW at Long Nab early morning, also 10 Eiders, 3 Red-breasted mergansers and a Hobby south there. 12 Pink-footed Geese were at Johnson's Marsh before leaving north. A Jay flew west there (other sites in England reported Jays moving today). 18 Curlew were in fields at Scalby Lodge and 63 Oystercatchers at Cromer Point. 90 Pink-footed Geese flew south over town early afternoon.
