Tuesday 14th November

 A Cetti's Warbler was singing at Seamer Tip pool. A Great Northern Diver was again in the harbour and approximately 35 Pink-footed Geese flew south over Burniston. Three Short eared Owls were north of Long Nab Obs and a Water Pipit was on the flooded field just north of the Obs with Rock Pipits and Pied Wagtails. A Chiffchaff, Woodcock, Little Egret and 100 Blackbird were on the west side of Seamer Tip. 100 Fieldfare and 45 Blackbird were along the River Hertford behind Stockdales. A pair of Willow Tit, two Chiffchaff, a Brambling and a Crossbill were at Robins Bottom Plantation, Willerby. Between Willerby Carr and Straits Lane there was 1,800+ Pink-footed Geese, 700+ Greylag Geese, 20+ White-fronted Geese, 40 Teal, a Ruddy Shelduck, Bar-headed Goose, 1,800 Golden Plover, 2,000+ Lapwing, 55 Dunlin, 45 Snipe, eight Redshank, two Ruff, three Curlew and 3,500 Starling. A Great Egret flew east there. A Goldeneye was at Burton Riggs. At Potter Brompton Carr, viewed from Haybridge; approximately 400 Teal, most of which were on distant fields and in flight only, a Goldeneye, two Marsh Harrier, four Little Egret and eight Snipe. A redhead Goosander at Brompton Butts. A Hawfinch was with Redwing and Fieldfare at Staindale near Bridestones.
